Empowa Trade – Bringing liquidity to emerging market’s affordable housing
Throughout 2023, our dedicated team has been diligently working on developing software tailored to facilitate investment in the African affordable housing sector. In this article, we’d like to share some more details on Empowa Trade, a pivotal component of our comprehensive suite of offerings.
Before we do we’d like to briefly recap the other two tools that make up our software suites.
Empowa Pay – the emerging market affordable housing CRM:
The journey began with Empowa Pay, a purpose-built affordable housing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Designed to accommodate the informal nature of income prevalent across the continent, Empowa Pay is already live and in use by 15 developers across Africa. Empowa Save – Coming Soon:
Stay tuned for more information on Empowa Save, the next offering in our lineup. We’ll be sharing additional details in the new year, so keep an eye out for updates.
Empowa Trade – Empowering Investors and the Community:
Empowa Trade encompasses platforms catering to both accredited investors and the community. This includes the ability to trade SDRI NFTs for accredited investors and a platform for the community to buy and trade their collateral NFTs.
Liquidity and Risk Mitigation:
The introduction of Empowa Trade addresses the need for liquidity in the marketplace. This not only provides a platform for accredited investors to trade SDRI NFTs but also allows the community to buy and trade their collateral NFTs. The existence of such a marketplace provides for liquidity and reduces risk.
Community Collateral NFT Marketplace:
Our focus to date has been on the development of the collateral marketplace. When the next round of funding is deployed, we anticipate a surge in collateral NFT sales to a broader audience, prompting a greater interest in immediate trading. Consequently, our priority is to enhance and prioritise the community collateral NFT marketplace.
SDRI NFT Trading:
Given the nature of the entities considering our SDRI NFTs, we can reasonably expect to have less immediate trading volume for these instruments. As such we are better able to facilitate Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading in the short term to service these transactions effectively.

Empowa Trade represents a crucial piece of software within our blockchain-enabled ecosystem. By leveraging these cutting-edge solutions, we aim to revolutionize the affordable housing market in Africa, making it accessible to a broader audience.
