The EMP token is a platform-native token introduced by the Empowa Platform used to collateralize investments in affordable housing. Capital raised is secured by cash flows associated with lease-to-own tenants’ repayments, and an amount of the EMP token supplied by developers as collateral.

Complete online bounties and earn XP points through Zealy powered community program. Zealy describes itself as the operating system for communities. Essentially it allows us to outline actions that are useful in supporting our project and then reward our community for completing these actions. The actions typically centre around investing time in understanding our project better or supporting us in spreading the word on Empowa.

The rewards take the form of XP points which are earned by completing tasks. Different tasks carry different XP rewards which loosely reflect how valuable the task is for our project. Earned XP points will translate into eligibility to win prizes in adhoc competition we have planned throughout the year.

    The RealFi NFT with Real World Impact This joint Empowa and World Mobile NFT will showcase RealFi in action. Not only will the NFTs provide affordable finance for at least 30 families to be able to purchase affordable homes in Mozambique, but with the help of World Mobile, these families will also have access to more affordable internet.

    Cardano Summit "Blockchain for Good" winner

    During the inaugural Cardano Summit Awards Ceremony, Glen Jordan - Empowa was announced as the winner of the Blockchain for Good project. The votes were placed on the Cardano Ballot application that was created by the Metadata Tools team from the Cardano Foundation. Over 5000 votes were cast by the Cardano community to award the winners.

    The introduction of The Vault is an exciting development, as it allows our community to support on the ground developments, 100% in EMP and earn returns while they HODL their $EMP.
